My Indy Car Debut

Even though I had already been to the 24 Hours of Daytona, I really considered the Indy Car Season opener at Homestead my 1st race. It was very eventful. I was so happy that he qualified second, but as it turned out his time was taken away, so i cried a little about that. Qualifying was actually the highlight of my weekend. I have my own hardcard, so i was able to go out on the grid for qualifying, and while i was out there i met Patrick Dempsey and the Firestone Firehawk. I can't really figure out which one i think is cuter. Anyway, I had a good time in Homestead and now I am headed to Sanibel Island with my cousin van for our spring break. More to come....

Makenna Goes Swimming

My daddy has been down in Florida testing at Homestead Speedway, and is getting ready to go testing at Sebring. We had a few days to waste between the two tests, so my parents took me to Disney World. The only problem was that they didn't even take me to the Magic Kingdom. All they did was take me swimming, oh well, it was my first time swimming and I had a lot of fun. Maybe next time we go to Disney I actually make it into one of the parks. If my parents don't take me to the parks, I know that I can count on my Lolli to take me there. I was also able to see my Aunt Cheryl while we were in Orlando, so that made the trip worthwhile!
